The Surprise Rafters rallied after Phil Hughes (NYY) departed to defeat the Peoria Javelinas by a score of 5-3 Monday night. The Rays Rhyne Hughes was 1-3 (single) with a walk and two strikeouts. J.T. Hall was 0-3 with an RBI, a walk, and a strikeout. Hall also had a throwing error in left field. Mike Wlodarczyk took the loss pitching 0.2 IP in relief and giving up two unearned runs on a hit and two walks. The Javelinas (10-13), losers of six straight, take on the Scottsdale Scorpions (7-16) tonight at 9:05 eastern.
