The Javelinas lost their seventh straight last night to the Scottsdale Scorpions by a score of 9-3. Rhyne Hughes was 1-4 (home run) with 2 RBI, a run scored and a strikeout. Matt Spring was 0-4 with a strikeout. In the field, Spring had 2 errors (both throwing), a passed ball, and allowed 7 stolen bases. Ryan Reid pitched one inning, gave up one unearned run on 2 hits and struck out 2. Chris Mason also pitched one scoreless inning in relief. The Javelinas (10-14) play the Surprise Rafters (6-18) today at 2:35 eastern.
