The Durham Bulls And The Lil Sluggers

The Durham Bulls are bringing baseball to the lil ones:

The Durham Bull Baseball Club and Dreamsports Center of Apex NC today announced a partnership to bring baseball to young kids aged 2 - 5 years of age. The Durham Bulls will be the official sponsor of the Lil Sluggers program at Dreamsports.

Headquarted in Huntington NY, Lil Sluggers is a nationally recognized child development program created to introduce children ages 2-5 to the game of baseball. Lil Sluggers classes develop important skills such as throwing, catching, hitting, and base running. Developmentally appropriate equipment and games are used to teach children the game of baseball in a fun, exciting, and positive environment.

The Bulls will be a big part of the program at Dreamsports, including having their mascot and players becoming a regular part of the program. Lil Sluggers will also have regular opportunities to become more involved in Bulls games at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
