What do you think of Niemann? I really, really don't want to see him relegated to the 'pen permanently because he could be a front-line starter or a really, really good 4-5th starter. I know a lot of people really like Sonny (as do I) but I think that if not this season, then next season Niemann might be the higher-quality pitcher.
ReplyDeleteI think that he could be a very good #4 or 5 starter, but because of the depth we have, him being relegated to the bullpen wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. I think eventually Sonnanstine is going to get squeezed out anyway, probably by Wade Davis as soon as next year.
