Former Major League All-Stars and Hall of Famers such as Gaylord Perry, Jim Kaat, Bert Blyleven, Bert Campaneris, Mike Myers and Doug Creek will take the field at Charlotte Sports Park on Saturday, March 21, 2009 to participate in the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association’s "Legends of Baseball" Game, Home Run Derby and “Legends for Youth” Baseball Clinic.Tickets are on sale now. Prices range from $5 for Berm seating to $15 for Field Box seats. Tickets can be purchased at the Charlotte Sports Park Box offices or thru Ticketmaster. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation, which helps to build character and teach critical life lessons to disadvantaged young people residing in America's most distressed communities through baseball and softball themed programs.
