Up
Durham Bulls - RHP Wade Davis: Davis was good, not great for Durham, but considering it was his first start of the year, 1 run on 2 hits and 5 strikeouts in 4 innings isn't bad at all. He still needs to show he can throw strikes more consistently, as he walked 3 batters, something he did virtually every AAA start last year.
Montgomery Biscuits - N/A: No real prospect had a day worth mentioning here.
Bowling Green Hot Rods - 1B Mike Sheridan: Sheridan hit his first home run as a professional.
Down
Durham Bulls - OF Justin Ruggiano: Went 0-4 and struck out 3 times.
Montgomery Biscuits - RHP Neal Frontz: Frontz had another rough outing, getting hit up for 4 earned runs in just 1 innings. He again struggled to find the strike zone, walking 4.
Bowling Green Hot Rods - DH Mike McCormick: Went 1-4 but is hitting just .143 early in the year.
Re: Durham Bulls, Ray Olmedo definitely up. Two homers in two games (compared to 24 in the rest of his 10-year career), plus game-winning single last night.
