Charlotte Stone Crabs - LHP Darin Downs: Not really a prospect, but he's pitching very nicely for the Crabs.
Bowling Green Hot Rods - RHP Jamie Bagley: Have to recognize the fact he's given up a total of 2 hits in 12.1 scoreless innings.

Durham Bulls - OF Matt Joyce: Scored twice and reached on a walk, but he went hitless, one of only two Bulls to do so.
Montgomery Biscuits - SS Brandon Chaves: Only Biscuit starter without a hit.
Charlotte Stone Crabs - OF Reid Fronk: Went 0-3 and is hitting just .233.
Bowling Green Hot Rods - C Mike McCormick: Another 0-3. Hitting .131. Yikes.
Re Matt Joyce. Guess I just don't see how scoring the winning run after getting hit by a pitch counts as being "down". After all, getting on base twice and scoring both times is a pretty good day in my book.

ReplyDeleteHughes with another 1. If he's not at Durham by the break I'd be surprised. Hellickson, Jennings & Hughes should be Bulls by then.
