The Montgomery Biscuits have received RHRP Chad Bradford on a Major League rehabilitation assignment. He is expected to make his first appearance for the Biscuits on Wednesday night.
Bradford, 34, will not count against the Biscuits’ Southern League roster allotment. He is continuing his rehab from off-season surgery on his right elbow after making three one-inning relief appearances with the Charlotte (A+) Stone Crabs. He threw three scoreless innings, allowing two total hits while striking out two. He appeared for Charlotte On May 24th, May 27th and May 30th. He underwent surgery on his right elbow in February after feeling discomfort during an off-season throwing program.
The Biscuits continue two players shy of the Southern League allotment of 24 active players. Two players are currently on the disabled list (Jeremy Hellickson, Jason Perry).
