RHP Chris Mason has been assigned to the Montgomery Biscuits from the Durham Bulls. He made one start for the Bulls, filling in for Mitch Talbot, and gave up 8 hits and 4 earned runs in 4.0 innings.

Stacy Long says we should expect four more moves involving the Biscuits: C Nevin Ashley and RHP Rayner Oliveros to Montgomery from the Charlotte Stone Crabs, RHP Jason Cromer to Durham from Montgomery, and C Ian Paxton from the Biscuits to the Stone Crabs.

Stacy also says that RHSP Jeremy Hellickson is headed to XST in Port Charlotte for up to 10 days:

Biscuits pitcher Jeremy Hellickson flies to Florida on Wednesday and will finish his rehab from a shoulder injury at Tampa Bay's extended spring training program. He threw another side session today and will throw live batting practice Friday in Port Charlotte, Fla., Biscuits manager Billy Gardner said.
