37th Round - 1129th Overall: C Austin Maddox Eagle's View Academy
[Added by Doug] Ht/Wt: 6'3"/220.
Bats/Throws: Right/Right.
Has signed with the University of Florida, looks to be a tough sign for the Rays.
Perfect Game had this to say about him:
Maddox has a big strong build and an absolute cannon behind the plate. His throws were 90mph from behind the plate not just in the workout but also between innings of the game. He shows ability behind the plate receiving and he is very quick for his size popping a 1.75. He has big time power potential at the plate and can drive the ball out of any park. He shows good leverage in his swing and creates easy power. He also got on the mound and pitched 91-94 and showed off his arm strength. Maddox has great tools and is a top two way guy in the 2009 class. He is an outstanding student and has made a verbal commitment to the Florida Gators.

40th Round - 1219th Overall: LHP James Pazos Highland High School
[Added by Doug] He's an Arizona State University commit, so doubtful he'll sign with the Rays.
The college guys will probably sign, the JuCo guys might, and I'd be surprised if a high schooler taken this late signs. Austin Maddox was considered a top-3-rounds talent but slipped due to his college commitment. The Rays took a flier on him, but he'll be attending the University of Florida.
Still 10 rounds to go, I'll update once they're done.
Pazos was also a top HS guy whose stock dropped recently. He's probably heading to Arizona State.
