Zach Quate 14th round RHP and Bennet Davis 42nd round IF have also signed.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info... Do you have a link for either of those by any chance?
ReplyDeleteNo links but they did sign on the 12th.
ReplyDeleteAlright, thanks again for the info.
ReplyDeleteI'd give you the amounts they signed for....but that's up to them to release at this point.
ReplyDeleteA few weeks ago, I had the chance to see Tyler Bortnick play 3B against the Tar Heels. I was very impressed by his glove and arm. He should be a very solid pro.
ReplyDeleteJacob Partridge 18th round pick just signed!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear! I'll wait for official confirmation before adding him to the list.
ReplyDelete36th rounder Jeff Cinadr is listed on Hudson Valley's roster, so I'm adding him.
ReplyDelete35th rounder Chris Murrill is also listed, so he's been added as well.
ReplyDeleteBaseball America lists Fuller's signing bonus at $150k and Nommensen's at $25k
ReplyDeleteThat is great about the young guys getting big chances.Aaron Oakes of Ca is also a awesome 3B.He has been practicing and prfesting this sport since 5 yrs old.He is currently off to Florida in a couple of weeks.save him a spot on your roster.I am sure you will be very impressed
ReplyDeleteLooks like Derek Dennis may not be coming...

A bit on Cody Rogers from his HS coach:
ReplyDelete"His speed is the No. 1 thing. He runs so well. Of course, the Tampa Bay Rays love guys that can run and that's kind of their M.O. Cody fits that description," Mitchell said. "And he's a left-handed hitter. As a big kid, about 6-2, who can really run and hits from the left side, those two things probably attracted Tampa Bay to Cody. He's young and he's going to be a kid that's going to work really hard."

Looks like you can add Ryan McCarney (33).
ReplyDeletehttp://www.bdtonline.com/localsports/local_story_170222625.html
...And Scott Shuman (19)
ReplyDeleteArticle is dated 6/19 and neither appears on Princeton's roster as of 6/24 so I don't know. Plus, since the Rays said earlier that they have signed 25, that means 2 of the 25 we are showing are wrong. So I'm gonna hold off on McCarney and Shuman for now. They also aren't on Hudson Valley or GCL Rays rosters either.
ReplyDeleteHI I AM A SOURCE FROM INSIDE THE HUDSON VALLEY RENEGADES CLUBHOUSE TEAM THERE ARE REPORTS FROM MANGEMENT THAT DAN APRIL WAS SENT DOWN TO ROKKIE BALL (PRI) AND HE REFUSED AND RETIRED FROM PROFENISAL BASEBALL EAIRLER TODAY THANKKS =]
ReplyDelete19th round pick Shuman signed. Just got put on Princeton team!
ReplyDeleteShuman and 21st rounder Matt Swilley are both signed/signing soon, I'm just waiting for the official word(which could come today) so I can put them up there.
ReplyDeleteMatt Swilley signed and is with the GCL Rays, wearing #23. Saw him today.
ReplyDeleteSwilley signed for $150 grand
ReplyDeleteA brief video of Jeff Malm:

ReplyDeleteMalm from an interview covering Gorman's American Legion team:
Malm, a fifth-round draft choice of the Tampa Bay Rays in June, is undecided whether to sign a professional contract or fulfill his college commitment to Southern California.
He said he remains in negotiations and is unsure what to expect before the Aug. 17 pro signing deadline.
"I'm just taking it day by day right now," said Malm, the Louisville Slugger National Player of the Year. "It could be any day I get the call that something gets worked out, or the deal could be off. I'm just playing games with (the Titans), and I'll see what happens after that."
Had to go ahead and dust this off, BaseballAmerica's latest transaction page lists 30th rounder Marcus Proctor as signed.
ReplyDeleteThe Rays official site lists his signed date as 8/3, so that's what I have here.
ReplyDeleteApparently we signed Glaesmann, little birdy told me.

ReplyDeleteThe Rays are closing in on deals with several of their top draft picks: No. 3 OF Todd Glaesmann, No. 4 C Luke Bailey, No. 5 1B Jeff Malm and No. 9 LHP Kevin James, of Whitefish Bay (Wi.) HS. No. 1 pick INF LeVon Washigton and No. 2. SS Kenny Diekroeger have not signed.
Can't find anything saying Todd Glaesmann has signed yet, but thanks for the tip Jake. Kevin monitors this closely, so as soon as he knows, it'll be posted.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking this is going to be a busy weekend for signings (but not necessarily for announcements), with Monday night at midnight as the deadline (unless another Boras thing, I suppose).
Correct me if I'm wrong, due to the weekend, 8/15 becomes 8/17, and there is all day on 8/17 (Monday), so basically the deadline is when the clock turns to Tuesday 8/18. And even then, announcements may not come out for hours. Let me know if I'm wrong on the deadline, it's what I've heard since the draft.
Doug, According to the countdown clock on BBA's home page, you are correct.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anon, a couple of months ago I understood this, and lately I've heard conflicting reports, so I just wanted some confirmation. So until otherwise heard, we're looking at Monday night/Tuesday morning for final word on who has/has not signed. Should be fun.
ReplyDeleteAnd KG, feel free to bump up the Malm and Signing Board posts so people can find them.
9th rounder Kevin James will sign, probably announced on Monday. I'll add it to the board once I get confirmation from a news source or the team.
ReplyDeleteSign Kenny Diekroger!
ReplyDeleteNice to know that Tyler Bortnick will be heading to the New York-Penn League All-Star game.
ReplyDeletecan we at least get floro c'mon!
ReplyDeleteKalani Brackenridge will play baseball only for the University of Hawaii:
ReplyDelete"The middle infielder and 2009 Kapolei graduate said he will join the UH baseball team. He had signed a letter of intent in February to play football with an agreement that he could try out for baseball. But he has since relinquished his football scholarship to focus solely on baseball."
