Minor Moves: Jarman, Eder

Michael JarmanThe Bowling Green Hot Rods have placed LHP Michael Jarman on the 7-day disabled list retroactive to July 19, 2009. Jarman, 24, has a 4.01 ERA in 14 appearances (8 starts). Over 51.2 innings he has struck out 42 and walked 15 with a 1.85 GO/AO ratio.

Outfielder Federico Eder has been assigned to the DSL Rays from the VSL Rays. Eder hit .203/.358/.281 in 64 AB's for the VSL Rays and in his debut yesterday for the DSL Rays he went 1-3 (single) with an RBI. He's a 5'9", 165 pound, 18 year-old out of Parana, Argentina.
