Biscuits Week in Review: 8/14 to 8/20

The Montgomery Biscuits had a tough week losing four of five games with the other two being called off due to weather. The Biscuits dropped to 25-28 on the half and are 10 1/2 games back from first. The team suffered a major scare on Monday night when pitcher Darin Downs was hit in the head with a line drive in the fifth inning during the game against Birmingham. Downs was transported to a local hospital with head trauma. Downs has since been removed from the ICU and continues to improve.
