2010 Montgomery Biscuits Roster
Courtesy of Stacy Long, who you need to bookmark now if you haven't already:
PITCHERS
Not really any surprises. Aneury Rodriguez maybe deserved a bump to Durham with his 2009 second half, but he's still only 22 years old. If he pitches well, he could get his promotion when Alex Cobb is healthy enough to take the field. Not including Cobb, eight pitchers on this roster have the ability to start: the rotation will be something like Jake McGee, Aneury Rodriguez, Alex Torres, David Newmann, Darin Downs, while Jeremy Hall(25), Rayner Oliveros(10), and Paul Phillips(1) each have starting experience. I'd expect Jose Lobaton and Nevin Ashley to each split time behind the plate and at the DH spot. Also, the absence of Matt Sweeney means he'll start the year with Charlotte.
