PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – The Charlotte Stone Crabs bring an undefeated record back to Charlotte Sports Park for their six-game homestand against the division-rival Fort Myers Miracle (Minnesota Twins) and Jupiter Hammerheads (Florida Marlins) starting Tuesday, April 13 through Sunday, April 18.
The homestand will feature the usual daily promotions including Seniors Eat Free Tuesday presented by Ruhl Law Group, Chick-fil-A Winning Wednesday and Thursty Thursday presented by The Ice House Pub while the weekend will feature Golfer’s Appreciation Night on Friday, April 16 and a free, pre-game Kids Carnival and appearance by Rally the “King of Bling” on Saturday, April 17.
The Stone Crabs begin with a three-game series against the Miracle on Tuesday, April 13 with Seniors Eat Free Tuesday presented by Ruhl Law Group. All fans 55 and over will receive a free hot dog, bag of chips and soft drink with the purchase of a game ticket, which starts at just $6 for general admission. Tuesday also marks KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night tickets where fans can receive a buy-one, get-one-free ticket offer if they present a KRAFT Singles wrapper to the box office at the time or purchase. The rivalry continues at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14 with a Chick-fil-A Winning Wednesday against Fort Myers. If the Stone Crabs win, everyone in attendance will receive a coupon for a free sandwich from the Chick-fil-A in Port Charlotte as they exit the stadium. Gates open at 6:00 p.m.
Charlotte will wrap up the series with Fort Myers on Thursday, April 15 with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. for Thursty Thursday presented by The Ice House Pub. Thursty Thursday drink specials include $1 domestic drafts and $2 domestic bottles through the fifth inning of the game. First pitch is 7:05 p.m.
The Stone Crabs will open a three-game, weekend series against the Jupiter Hammerheads with Golfer’s Appreciation Night on Friday, April 16. The special night will feature a free putt-putt course for kids, several golf-themed in-game promotions and a post-game Closest-to-the-Pin Contest featuring local club pros and the Stone Crabs coaching staff. Gates open at 6:00 and first pitch is 7:05 p.m.
Charlotte Sports Park will be busy on Saturday, April 17 with several events taking place in addition to the game against the Hammerheads. The YMCA Healthy Kids Day 5k & 1-Mile Fun Run will start at 4:00 p.m. and give people the chance to run through and around Charlotte Sports Park before the game starts. After the 5k, the Stone Crabs will also host a free Kids Carnival in front of the stadium before the game. Kids can play a variety of carnival and midway games and win prizes at no cost when the Carnival starts at 5:00 p.m. During the game, Rally, the “King of Bling” will entertain between innings with high-energy routines and comedy skits featuring umpires and players. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. for the game that starts at 7:05 p.m.
The Stone Crabs play the series finale against the Hammerheads and wrap up the homestand on Sunday, April 18. Kids with memberships in the Stone Crabs Kids Club presented by Wendy’s will receive free admission to the game. First pitch is scheduled for 5:35 p.m. with gates opening at 4:30 p.m.
