Hot Rods Week in Review: April 28 to May 4

The Bowling Green Hot Rods were 1-5 on the week and have fallen to 7-19 on the season. They are currently in last place of the Midwest League Western Division, eight games back from first place. The Hot Rods have shown improvement this week in their offensive statistics so hopefully that will correspond to and improvement in the win column.

  1. Something is screwy with the comments... Anyway, after Jim posted this, one of the few good hitters for BG so far this season, catcher Mark Thomas, was placed on the DL with a concussion. The move was made retroactive to May 4th, and every concussion is different, so no idea when he'll be back. But it's not good news for the BG offense.

  2. What's it going to take to get TB to start switching some rosters around so BG can get some much needed help??? (Or are they much more interested in "development of individuals," and don't really care about winning games?) Heard that Aaron Dott is having a fantastic extended spring-please bring up to BG soon.
