After clinching playoff berth by winning the first half, the Charlotte Stone Crabs kick off the second half of the season on Thursday. The Stone Crabs completed the first half with a 43-26 record which was the best record in the Florida State League. Matt Moore was named the league’s pitcher of the week for his outstanding performance in both starts during the week, striking out 20 while only allowing 1 run in 13 innings.
