PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – The Charlotte Stone Crabs will host a three-game series against the Bradenton Marauders (Pittsburgh Pirates) starting on Thursday, July 1 at Charlotte Sports Park that includes a Thursty Thursday, the Stone Crabs Sluggeritaville beer tasting event on Friday and a July 3 Fireworks spectacular.
The homestand begins on Thursday, July 1 with a Thursty Thursday presented by The Ice House Pub where drink specials include $1 domestic drafts and $2 domestic bottles through the fifth inning. The specials start when gates open at 6:00 p.m. and first pitch is 7:05 p.m.
The series continues on Friday, July 2 with the Stone Crabs Sluggeritaville beer tasting event where fans can sample more than 20 different beers, enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet and get a free team hat for just $25. Beers at the event include Sierra Nevada, Samuel Smith's, Shiner, Harpoon, South Hampton, Magners, Flying Dog, Palm, Peroni, Leinenkugel and more. The three-game set ends with a bang on Saturday, July 3 with a special, post-game Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. with first pitch at 7:05 p.m. The fireworks display is scheduled to start shortly after the game ends.
