The Biscuits went 5-1 on the week and improved to 33-33 on the second half. There is just four games remaining on the season for the Biscuits and they hold on to a slim chance at making the playoffs. Jacksonville won the first half and is currently leading the second half. If Jacksonville holds on to first place, the second playoff spot will go to the highest overall record for the season in which the Biscuits trail Mobile by just two games. Also during the week, Alex Torres won the pitcher of the week award and Matt Gorgen was named to the postseason all-star team.

I saw where Tampa Bay renewed their PDC with Montgomery for 4 years.
ReplyDeleteYes they have. I was gonna write something up today. Been busy with a project and haven't been online as much.
ReplyDeleteAny news about Tampa Bay signing with Hudson Valley Renegades? I believe their contract is up soon.
ReplyDeleteHVR is set to expire at the end of the season. I have not seen or heard anything on a renewel yet. I searched the internet and could not find anything either.
ReplyDeleteEveryone except Durham was due to expire after this season. With the re-ups with Montgomery and Charlotte, expect announcements on Bowling Green and Hudson Valley soon.
ReplyDeletePrinceton and the GCL/VSL/DSL Rays are all owned by the Tampa Bay Rays, Inc. The Rays could move out of Princeton, but with such a long history, I doubt they will.
