Charlotte Stone Crabs 0, Tampa Yankees 9Stone Crabs lose series 1-3. Matt Hall was the only Stone Crab with multiple hits, going 2 for 4 with a double. Stephen Vogt also had a double. Alex Colome, Michael Jarman and Scott Shuman provided shut-out relief. The Stone Crabs managed eight hits on the night but were unable to push any runners across the plate. They were 0 for 5 with runners in scoring position and stranded 8 men on base. Joe Cruz was tagged for 7 runs on 9 hits to take the loss. Marquis Fleming surrendered the other two runs. The Stone Crabs fell to the Yankees in the championship series for the second consecutive year.
