For comparison, Crawford has hit .304/.345/.459/.804 for a 106 OPS+ in Tropicana Field. At least he didn't sign with the Indians, wow.
Note: The Twins and Yankees have had two stadiums during Crawford's career. For the Twins, they now play at Target Field, and for the Yankees "Stad3" is their current one.
It would be awesome if Crawford hit that way in Fenway for all 7 years.
ReplyDeleteNow now, let's wish him the best. And remember this is just over a half season of ABs over his entire career, some many years ago when he probably would have been in the minors for most teams. And many of those early years he was the biggest threat in the Rays lineup, so probably didn't get the best pitches to hit.
ReplyDeleteI'm not buying any thank you ads, and I wish he'd gone to the NL or at least out of the AL East, but I appreciate what he's done for the Rays and congratulate him on his good fortune. It's quite a good fortune!
