  1. The weather has alot to do with the poor attendance figures in Bowling Green. There was another rainout today. I don't know if they will be able to get back to the 3,500 average this year due to the slow start.

  2. Today's game was rained out before I even got the probable pitchers posted. Don't the big attendance numbers in BG start after school is out, at least during the week?

  3. When school is out it will have a positive influence on weekday games. The problem is they lost their opening day croud due to a rainout and are running about 1,000 below the 3,500 for the past two years. That's going to take a lot of 4,000 plus gates to get back to where they were. They have many good promotions planned and maybe they can pull it off. Regardless I will be there because like the mailman I go through rain, wind and snow you know.

  4. No GCL attendance figures? There were three of us in Pt Charlottes at the GCL championship vs the Yankees.

  5. Nice...three's a record for the GCL, too bad they don't keep attendance stats. I guess it would look like this: 60 players, 10 coaches, 3 fans and a bus driver. But hey, its great baseball and no hype.
