Minor Moves: Jannis, Kelly

The Rays have made the following minor league transactions:
  • RHP Mickey Jannis added to Charlotte Stone Crabs from extended spring training
  • RHP Merrill Kelly was placed on 7-Day Disabled List retro to 5/14

    Yup, according to Stacy Long he asked for his release, so probably a retirement or hoping he can catch on with another team.

    Saw Mickey Jannis pitch yesterday, everything he throws moves,darts,swings,drops. but it was the best broken bat ever, the bat head went over the 1st basemens head, unfortunatly along with the ball
