Alex Cobb lowered his ERA to 1.14, allowing no earned runs (but two unearned) over 6 innings. He gave up nine hits, struck out six, and didn't walk a hitter. Robinson Chirinos hit his first home run of the season, a solo shot. Leslie Anderson was 2-3.

Shane Dyer allowed two runs on six hits over 5.2 innings, striking out four and walking one. Paul Phillips allowed five hits and recorded just one out. John Shelby homered for the Biscuits and Daniel Mayora was 2-4 with a double.
Charlotte Stone Crabs 6, Dunedin Blue Jays 0
Merrill Kelly (two innings), Adam Liberatore (four), Deivis Mavarez (one), and Scott Shuman (two) combined on the shutout. Kelly, Liberatore, and Shuman each struck out four. Hak-Ju Lee was 2-5 with a double while Brett Nommensen and Greg Sexton drove in two. Chris Murrill also had two hits.

Braulio Lara allowed eight runs on seven hits in just 4.1 innings, and Steve Hiscock allowed four runs in 1.2. Cody Rogers, Robby Price, and Derek Dietrich each had two hits. Price drew two walks and has his season OBP up to .447.
