
Ryan Reid made his first start since 2006 and allowed one run over 5 innings, striking out three and walking none. Durham's lone run came on a Chris Carter double scoring Desmond Jennings. Jennings was 1-3 with a walk and Brandon Guyer went 2-5. Each stole a base.

Joseph Cruz allowed two runs in 1.2 innings before being taken out with an injury (no word yet what it is). Henry Wrigley went 2-4 with a home run, and Nevin Ashley also had two hits. Tim Beckham was 1-3 with a stolen base.

Alex Koronis pitched 6 shutout innings, striking out six and walking two. Tyler Bortnick, Brett Nommensen, and Mike Sheridan each had two hits, while Nommensen, Hak-Ju Lee, and Dustin Biell drew two walks apiece.

Victor Mateo allowed five runs on eleven hits in 5.1 innings. Omar Bencomo also allowed a run, while Steve Hiscock struck out four in two scoreless innings. Robby Price, Nick Schwaner, and Kevin Kiermaier each had two hits, the only six of the game for Bowling Green. Cody Rogers drew two walks.
Nick Schwaner's two hits were homeruns for the Hot Rods.

ReplyDeleteWrigley last ten game is worthy of playing him everyday. Advantage over sweeny. AA relief P need to step up looks like. AA squad is the best in the minors roster potential wise.
