  2. RT @keithlaw: Tampa Bay's 39th round pick from 2010, Parker Markel, was 92-97 with a plus slider in the first here against Staten Island

  3. Dear Tampa Bay Rays, Please consider moving some Stone Crabs up to Montgomery- soon. There are some well deserving players stuck down in Port Charlotte, who, for what its worth, I don't think belong there. Some suggestions- Sexton, Hall, Satow.
    Sincerely,
    A TB fan

  8. Anon: Probably just getting Goetzman ready for game action again since it's likely been at least a few weeks since his HS season again. He played today and had two hits.

  9. Goetzman played today and had a hit with a couple RBI, went down and got a breaking pitch. Added a SB, but speed does not look to be a top asset.

Dorville had a single and and the stole 2nd, 3rd and home on the back end of a double steal.

Saw some good pitching, especially by a young lefty tht I did not know, have to find out who it was.

  10. Goetzman was actually 2/3 with a double, a run scored, two stolen bases and a hit by pitch.

  11. I should have mentioned that I was only there for a part of the game, but from what I saw the GCL Rays will be fun to watch. Cesar Perez made a great play down the 3B line, and this team really looks as if it will be very aggressive on the bases.
