Leslie Anderson had a two run homer. Robinson Chirinos had a solo home run. IF Omar Luna pitched a scorless ninth inning.


Jackson Generals 8, Montgmery Biscuits 2
Isaias Velasquez was 2 for 3 with a triple and a run scored. Stephen Vogt was 2 for 4 with a double. Daniel Mayora was 2 for 4 with a double. Shawn O'Malley and Kyeong Kang had RBI's. Neil Schenk pitched 2 scoreless innings.


Palm Beach Cardinals 10, Charlotte Stone Crabs 4
Mike Sheridan was 3 for 4 with a double and a run scored. Reid Fronk was 2 for 5 with 2 RBI's. Matt Hall was 2 for 4 with an RBI. Greg Sexton was 2 for 4. Ty Morrison had a double and an RBI.


Dayton Dragons 2, Bowling Green Hot Rods 5
Phil Wunderlich was 3 for 5 with a double an an RBI. Luke Bailey was 2 for 4 with a home run. Julio Cedeno was 2 for 5 with a double and 2 RBI's. George Jensen picked up the win and Chris Rearick the save.


Brooklyn Cyclones 1, Hudson Valley Renegades 5
Juniel Querecuto was 2 for 4 with an RBI. Leonardo Reginatto was 2 for 4. Chris Winder drove home 2 runs. Gerardo Olivares had an RBI. Jason McEachern pitched 6 2/3 no-hit innings with 6 strikeouts for the win.


Princeton Rays 3, Pulaski Mariners 6
Jake DePew was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Ryan Brett was 2 for 4. Justin O'Conner had an RBI. Garret Smith pitched a no-hit inning.


GCL Rays 4, GCL Orioles 5
Jonathan Quinonez was 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored. Hector Rodriguez was 2 for 4. Edward Dorville had a solo home run. Ariel Soriano had an RBI. Shawn Smith and Stayton Thomas combined for 3 shut-out innings of relief.


VSL Mariners 6, VSL Rays 11
Oscar Hernandez was 3 for 4 with a home run and 4 RBI's. Franklin Paz was 2 for 4 with a double, home run and 3 RBI's. Ismel Antunez was 2 for 4 with 3 runs scored. Leopoldo Correa had 2 RBI's. Johan Marval was the winning pitcher. Eduardo Medina pitched 2 shut-out innings for the save.

  1. I cant believe they pulled McEachern after 6 and 2/3 innings with a no hitter going on. He only threw 74 pitches and had just one walk!!

    Oscar had 2 more passed balls last night. 9 for the season.

  3. Why not go 9? he pretty much had 75 through 7 innings. Hes thrown more then that since high school. I just feel like thats a lot of crap to take someone out like that. If it would have been like a top 3 draft pick they woulda kept him in and let him try to get the no no.

  4. It was impressive to watch. He pitched the game of his life. Great job... Pitch counts are a way of life now, I guess we have to live with it.

  5. Catcher Oscar Hernandez hit his 13 HR yesterday.In 123 ABs, he is hitting .415 with a .510 OB% .805 SLG% and a OPS of 1.315!! Even this is just the VSL, those are insane numbers! He is only 17 years old too.
