13th for catcher Hernandez in 123 ABs! He is also hitting .415, has an OB% of .510 a SLG% of .805,and an OPS of 1.315! All this and he is just 17 years old. I wish we could bring him up the the Gulf Coast League.
ReplyDeleteMan I know it's only a few games, but Sale and Vettleson have to get it going soon. They are hitting like total crap.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Princeton wasn't the wrong place to start them. Glad to see Brett doing so well, 3 XBH in first 16 ABs, and he's a little younger than Sale and Vettleson. Fun team to follow, no doubt about that.
ReplyDeleteSoon?!? And what if they don't???
ReplyDeleteMoore is back to normal after the All-Star game: 5.0 IP, 3 hits, 0 runs, 0 walks, 4 strikeouts. And O'Malley is up to 12 SBs already with 2 tonight.
ReplyDeleteForgot to mention earlier, at BG Glaesmann is on the DL (elbow) and catcher Keith Castillo was added (he hit a 2-run HR in his debut tonight).
ReplyDeleteAlso the Rays signed NDFA Dave Laufer, RHP out of Boston College and assigned him to HV. He gave up a HR in one inning today.
Enny Romero had 7 Ks in 5.0 tonight, allowed 2 ER.
Bellatti pitched 6.0 scoreless for HV, only 3 hits, 3 Ks and 1 BB.
Let's not freak out over 5 games.
ReplyDeleteThats why I said I know it's only a few games.
