Anyone notice that Craige Lyerly has continued to stay hot? Now batting .306 pretty impressive guys!!!! He might be something after all. I don't remember the last game this guy hasn't at least reached base safely.
ReplyDeleteLyerly has reached base safely in each of his last 21 games dating back to 7/20. For the season, he has reached base safely in 29 of the 34 games he has played in.
ReplyDeleteHe is doing well. Really tearing it up. Reached base safely again last night. Make it 22. In college he holds the division 2 record for reaching base safely I think it is 88 games.
ReplyDeleteYea lyerly had a 39 game hitting streak and then over the course of two seasons reached base safely in 88 games. Which is in the division 2 record book. When this guy gets hot he stays hot! His 88 games of reaching base safely didn't end because he didn't get on it ended because he graduated. Pretty impressive maybe he has finally found his swing in pro ball as well. Time will tell, but I think he is starting to make some people think twice about him now.
ReplyDeleteWelp that was short lived talk about lyerly's consecutive on reaching base streak. It is back to zero for lyerly now.
