  1. Wonder if something is up in Charlotte. Here are the projected starters.

    Sat was Suarez
    Sun is Lara
    Mon is CJ
    Tues is Enny
    Weds is TBD
    Thurs is Suarez again

Notice who's spot the TBD is on Wed? Grayson Garvin, last year's supp 1st rounder (59th overall) out of Vandy.

Hasn't pitched great, 4.87 ERA over 10 starts, 35-18 SO-BB in 44.1 IP. About the same in April (4.50 ERA in 22 IP) as May (5.29 ERA in 22.1 IP).

Hurt? Promoted? Someone coming up from BG? Just an omission or typo?

Last time out was 5/30, went 4.2 gave up 5 ER on 5 hits and 4 walks with only 1 SO. He's much better against LHB, as you would expect, .185 avg against vs .242 against RHB.

Last fun fact, despite his struggles he's yet to allow a HR as a pro.

  2. Poor Flothe had another good outing and this makes at least 4 no decision's! He should be 9-1! Rivero had a fair outing but since he has set the bar so high giving up 3 runs is a major disappointment. He should also have 3 more wins at least...I would promote one of these 2, leaning towards Flothe because of age and college exp!!!

  3. Floethe has only had 2 bad starts, the last one in April and the last one in May, both on the road. Overall he's been dominant at home, but not so great on the road:

    Home - 38.0 IP, 1.18 ERA, 21 hits, 31 SO
    Road - 25.1 IP, 6.45 ERA, 31 hits, 15 SO

    Overall - 63.1 IP, 3.28 ERA, 52 hits, 46 SO

But only 1 home run on the year, at home even.
