
The Bulls could not overcome an eight run frame by their opponent as they fell to the Braves on Saturday night. Nevin Ashley was 2 for 2 with a double and a home run. Henry Wrigley was 2 for 5 with an RBI. Brooks Conrad had a solo homer. Stephen Vogt had a double. Josh Lueke was the losing pitcher. Adam Liberatore struck out 5 in 2 1/3 innings.

The Biscuits gave up their lead only to lose to the Stars in extra innings. Mark Thomas was 3 for 5 with a double and 3 RBI’s. Derek Dietrich had a double. Brett Nommensen drove home a run. Neil Schenk suffered the loss.

The Stone Crabs won on Saturday night in walk-off fashion as they scored twice in the home half of the ninth to win their second straight over the Mets. Luke Bailey was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, a home run and 4 RBI’s. Steven Tinoco was 3 or 5 with a double and scored the game winning run. Robby Price was 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Riccio Torrez also had two double. Lenny Linsky was the winner for the Stone Crabs.

The Silver Hawks offense used a ten run sixth inning to help beat the Hot Rods on Saturday night. Drew Vettleson was 4 for 5 with a home run and 4 RBI’s. Tyler Goeddel was 3 for 5 with a double and an RBI. Jake Hager was 3 for 5. Jeff Malm, Ryan Brett and Juniel Querecuto each had a double. Roberto Gomez pitched 3 shut-out innings. Charlie Cononie suffered the loss.

The Renegades got a taste of baseball legacy as they faced off against the Spinners at Fenway Park for the 2012 Futures at Fenway Game in which the Renegades held of a bottom of the ninth rally to win by a run. Jake DePew was a perfect 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 RBI’s. Ryan Dunn was 2 for 2 with a double and a RBI. Joel Caminero had a double. Jeff Ames picked up the win to improve to 4-0 after throwing 3 shut-out innings.

The P-Rays lost their lead in the bottom of the ninth to lose their third straight game against the Cardinals. John Alexander was 3 for 5 with a double. Omar Narvaez was 3 for 5 with an RBI. Oscar Hernandez and Brandon Martin each had a home run. Reid Redman had a double. Nick Sawyer was charged with the loss.

Saturday’s Rays/Orioles game in Sarasota was suspended after rain in the sixth inning. Play was halted with game tied 2-2. Yoel Araujo had a double. Spencer Edwards and Bralin Jackson drove home the Rays runs. Luis Cabrera pitched 3 shut-out innings.

The Rays held off a late charge by the Astros to win 5-3 on Saturday. Ismael Aguero had a home run. Rolman Ramirez had a triple. Eric Maria and Alexander each had a double. Junior Feliz pitched 3 perfect frames. Ariel Gracia earned the win and Ruben Paredes the save.
